Each week at our Design Studio, we get together and share what has recently caught our eye. It’s one of our favourite times of the week as we check our Instagram tags and see how you’ve used our fabrics, wallpapers and carpets in your very own design projects. We’d like to share some recent designs by YOU!
‘Wychwood’ wallpaper and ‘Friendly Folk’ fabric by @petersilkofhelmsley
We love a combination of green and white – A fresh and crisp room that has been dressed in our Wychwood wallpaper showing creatures amongst hedgerows, blooming trees and rolling English hills. We love the contrast created by using the Friendly Folk design on the headboard. Together, they create a bold statement!
‘Tall Trees’ by @makemyhousehome
We love seeing our designs used in unexpected ways. Our Tall Trees wallpaper has been used in this space to create a statement within the bathroom, creating a magical atmosphere. The overlapping trees with soft greens create depth and dynamism.
‘Bookend’ and ‘One Way’ by @laurenelliottdesigns
Our classic Bookend and One Way fabrics for Christopher Farr have been used in this corner to create a blue and white scheme. We love how the white curtains’ large scale complements our Bookend fabric. The embroidered details bring texture to any room.
‘Road Runner’ by @juliellesears
Julie shares with us that the hardest part of installing a stair runner is choosing and ordering one! We are so pleased to see how she has picked Road Runner, our outdoor and indoor runner, in collaboration with Annie Selke. The double stripe in pinks, reds and oranges creates a fun punch against the natural background, giving a complete new look to this staircase.
‘Mythical Land’ wallpaper from @charlottepackelighting
We love how our Mythical Land wallpaper has been used on the staircase wall and throughout the landing. Anyone in this space will feel encompassed by this whimsical scene with its magical creatures and pear trees.
We love seeing how you’re using our designs in your schemes so please keep sharing with us on Instagram @KitKempDesignThread.
‘Pop Art’ Border by @crafted_chairs_upholstery
The use of this Pop Art border from our collection with Christopher Farr, gives a second life to this chair. Bringing a contemporary touch to this antique piece, it has been re-polished and re-upholstered to be enjoyed for another generation.
