Our Favourite Outdoor Fabrics

With September here, we are looking forward to cooler days where we can enjoy a coffee on the terrace with a good book or a drink in the breezy evening. At our hotels, our suites boast stylish terraces with fabulous views of New York and London – the perfect places to embrace the season. We love to enhance these spaces with our outdoor fabric collections for Christopher Farr, or layer an outdoor rug from our Annie Selke collection for an extra pop of colour. Follow along to see some of our schemes that feature our favourite outdoor fabrics…

On the wrap-around terrace of our new Three Bedroom Clementine Suite at The Whitby Hotel, we chose vibrant blues and greens to make a statement. For a bold look, we reupholstered outdoor seating cushions in our ‘Lost and Found’ fabric for Christopher Farr and included throw pillows in Christopher Farr’s Carnival design. Our Annie Selke ‘Always Greener’ rug in cobalt and green ties the scheme together and provides a colorful foundation amongst the skyscrapers of Midtown Manhattan.

On the dining terrace, we repeated the rug and used matching pillows for continuity and comfort.

On the terrace of Residence 24 at Ham Yard Hotel, we covered the dining chairs and lounge chair cushions in Bookend Rosa. The sturdy stripe brings punchy hues of orange, pink and lime green for a fun pop of colour, mimicking the orange tones of the Residence’s interior.

The lush garden at Number Sixteen is a private oasis. Here blooming hydrangeas and towering mulberry trees provide a serene escape. In the wooden pagoda, ‘Lost and Found’ cushions provide a contrasting colour to the surrounding greenery.

Our Annie Selke collection always comes in handy for making quick transformations to outdoor spaces. At Crosby Street Hotel, throw pillows add colour to our Sculpture Garden.

Here on Ham Yard Hotel’s Roof Terrace we’ve combined our Annie Selkie cushions with the collection’s rugs to make an impact.
