The Design Studio at Ham Yard Village is a space that celebrates our most recent products and collaborations as well as items available at Artists Corner. Every item is available for sale and anyone can make an appointment to visit.
With the arrival of our collection with Annie Selke, Papillon Wallpaper and many more exciting collaborations on the horizon, it was time to introduce a new scheme to the space. Here we reveal the new look!
We have adorned the walls with Papillon Wallpaper and also recreated a bedroom area. To complement Papillon’s elegant patterns, we upholstered a headboard with our Hedgerow fabric for Andrew Martin in the Cerise colourway.
We’ve also included a ‘Hot Line’ rug from the new collection. Its abstract pattern and bold colours go with almost any scheme and introducing it to our Design Studio has instilled a feeling of playfulness and energy to the space.
Cushions from the Annie Selke collection give bursts of colour and draw the eye towards the intricate details of the headboard.
These colourful totems by Celia Lindsell, handcrafted clay works from Laurance Simon and unique ceramic pieces by Robina Jack are all available from Artists Corner. They work so well with the scheme’s pink and blue tones we’re almost hesitant to sell them, but we know they’ll complement your home too!
We also created these fun and colourful appliqué works and Acrylic Trays. What better way to celebrate the Queen than with tea and cake in bed!
Through the window you will see the items we have made to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee including a beautiful handmade corgi cushion which come as a pair – just like the Queen’s corgis, Candy and Muick. The cushions are placed upon a soft grey Leo Armchair with an appliquéd design of a rhino on the back of the chair. The Leo Armchair has a side pocket for your newspapers, magazines or reading glasses. It’s the most comfortable armchair and we can’t help taking a seat and watching the world go by.Â
Make your appointment here and discover more of our collections and curations. We’d love to welcome you to our new Design Studio soon!Â
Above the desk we have Kit Kemp’s kinetic Rockin’ Robin sculptural light for Porta Romana. Here you can also see our fabulous new Chubby Check Green and Chubby Check Pink Handle Chairs, alongside a series of Breon O’Casey linocuts, a charming Cat Castle and many Patchwork Toys who are there to greet you as you arrive. Transforming the floor in this area is Lily Pad Spring which makes a great example of how a rug can be used to bring together a scheme.Â
