Bold, Beautiful, Brightness: Feature Lights

Explore how bold and beautiful lighting creates character and sets the tone throughout our interiors...

Lighting is one of the most transformative elements in any interior. It shapes mood, defines space and tells a story. In our interiors, lighting is rarely just functional. It is the artistic heartbeat of every room.

At Ham Yard Hotel, colourful PET lamps by Spanish designer Alvaro Catalán de Ocón hang like floating lanterns. Handwoven by artisans across Colombia, Ethiopia and beyond, these lamps are made from recycled plastic bottles, blending sustainability with craftsmanship. Each piece carries a story, offering both light and life to the communities who create them.

In the Warren Street Hotel lobby, a striking white spiral chandelier by Gareth Devonald Smith flows through the space like a frozen wave, anchoring the room with sculptural elegance and bold artistic flair.

In The Orangery at Warren Street Hotel, Cox London’s Magnolia chandeliers are both poetic and powerful. Crafted from organic elements, their grandeur transforms the space, giving it a celestial, ethereal quality.

In The Shooting Gallery at Haymarket Hotel, earthy clay-beaded chandeliers introduce texture and drama. Their organic presence contrasts beautifully with architectural detailing, creating a bold yet grounded focal point.

In the library at Ham Yard Hotel, little alabaster balls dance together, their natural white and milky tones casting a gentle, warm glow that is at once simple and enchanting.

Nature often inspires our lighting choices. At Number Sixteen, a driftwood chandelier in the drawing room evokes the outdoors, grounding the floral interior with organic beauty.

At The Whitby Hotel’s Orangery, a chandelier adorned with Sergio Bustamante’s parrots and toucans brings colour, humour and tropical flair.

Finally, the Rockin’ Robin collection symbolises hope and new beginnings. Branch-like frames wrapped in organic twine hold handcrafted robins and glowing eggs, bringing warmth and joy indoors. Each piece transforms a space into a welcoming, lively home.

Whether sculptural, sustainable, or full of character, lighting is never just illumination. It is personality, atmosphere, and the heart of every space.
