With the world so hectic at the moment, we wanted to look back at a favourite calming scheme at Crosby Street Hotel. In Suite 709, we added a pop of colour and fun to the tranquil white walls with a punchy statement headboard. This geometric design by Pierre Frey is very bold, so the other patterns in the room are more subtle.
We covered the sofa in the same fabric to lead your eye from the drawing room space into the bedroom.
We played with plains to create the fun leading edge on the curtains, using a ribbon trim to create the defining navy blue zig-zag to echo the shapes in the headboard fabric.
I used my ‘Lost and Found’ fabric in green on the end of bed stool and then again in blue on the drawing room chairs, to define the two spaces
I think this scheme is a little reflection on how we must all try to steer ourselves at the moment: calm yet plucky. We hope this calm yet joyful design will bring a little inspiration to your day.
