Nestled just a stone’s throw from Regent’s Park, Dorset Square Hotel is one of our most charming townhouses. Here you will now find the newly refurbished Marylebone Suite. Join us on today’s blog as we take you inside this beautifully redecorated space.
Push open the door and you are welcomed into the sitting room, an instant embrace of colour and calm. The walls are painted in a soft shade of blue, setting a fresh and uplifting tone for the suite.
Playful accents run through the room, bringing a delightful sense of energy. The armchairs and sofa cushions are upholstered in a bold, large-scale geometric pattern alive with colour. In contrast, the sofa gently grounds the scheme with a small-scale blue weave.
On the back wall, a floor-to-ceiling bookcase stands proudly behind the sofa, turning what could have been a quiet surface into a moment of delight. A bookcase brings with it texture, personality and a sense of invitation. Softly glowing LED strip lighting adds evening atmosphere, transforming the mirror-backed shelves into a subtle secondary light source.
In both the bedroom and the living area, the curtains are made in one of our favourite fabrics, Zennor Arbour. This intricately drawn floral pattern bridges tradition and contemporary flair with confidence.
The same fabric reappears on the Ellie headboard, framed with a simple blue linen border to define it against the light blue walls and give the headboard its moment to shine. Like the sitting room, the bed is dressed with colourful geometric cushions that tie the scheme together and add a vibrant pop of colour.
To balance these lively elements, the desk chair is upholstered in plain fabrics that sit harmoniously with the suite’s oranges and blues. A cheerful doggy desk lamp adds the perfect finishing touch to the workspace.
We hope you have enjoyed this first glimpse of the Marylebone Suite at Dorset Square Hotel.
