Room 306 at Warren Street Hotel

Sleeping Around

Step inside Room 306 at Warren Street Hotel, a vibrant celebration of bold colour, striking patterns and playful layering...

The inspiration for this space began with one of our favourite fabrics by MINDTHEGAP: Susie Q. With a circular chain of blooming florals set against a dramatic black background, it’s a joyful explosion of colour and energy. The contrast between the vivid hues and dark ground creates a bold and memorable profile.

Upholstered on our Sam Headboard and finished with wide nickel studding, this fabric becomes the immediate focal point. Its kaleidoscopic symmetry offers a subtle masculinity, which beautifully balances the softness of the pinks and adds visual depth and duality to the design.

To complement the headboard, we used our Travelling Light fabric for the curtains. The tailored style echoes the multicoloured palette while softening the scheme and adding crisp, elegant structure to the room.

To honour the boldness of the headboard and maintain visual strength throughout, we pulled colours from its palette and dressed the walls in rich tones of orange, green and yellow. These hues create a thread of continuity that runs throughout the space. Confident colour blocking brings both playfulness and definition, giving the room its distinct character.

Balance is always key. On the opposite wall, we introduced an orange and white weave for the chairs. Piped in a contrasting butter yellow, it brings cohesion while adding a soft, sophisticated touch.

As with every room, the final flourish is art. Carefully chosen to reflect the room’s tone and energy, the pieces here were hand-painted by our beloved Mimi de Biarritz. A pair of small contemporary abstract paintings sit on either side of the bed, perfectly in tune with the palette and spirit of the room.

Room 306 is a perfect example of how even a small space can lift the spirit and tell a rich story. Every detail has been layered with intention; bold colours, balanced contrasts and thoughtful design choices. We hope you’ve enjoyed this glimpse into Room 306 at Warren Street Hotel.
