On today’s blog, join us as we explore the serene Songbird Suite at Warren Street Hotel, diving into the inspiration and design elements that make this space truly unique.
Upon entering, you are welcomed by our Songbird wallpaper in Mist, a painterly woodland wallpaper in soft grey. This modern interpretation of traditional Chinoiserie landscapes introduces a gentler, English-inspired elegance to the space. Installed floor-to-ceiling, the wallpaper envelops the room, creating an atmosphere of calm and quiet sophistication.
The colour palette continues with soft blues, greens and muted tones. To complement the natural theme, the suite features a bespoke sofa adorned with intricate stitching and delicate three-dimensional appliqué flowers. Opposite this, another sofa is upholstered in our Criss Cross fabric, complemented by matching appliqué cushions. These thoughtful details add texture and richness, enhancing the overall design.
We’ve also included one of our Whitby Chairs, upholstered in a mix of solids and patterns. For the finishing touch, striped double piping on the bias continues the room’s thoughtful and cohesive feel.
In the dining area, an antique console table and a large mirror introduce a strong focal point, enhancing the sense of space and grounding the scheme.
Moving into the bedroom, we continued the organic flow with a bespoke Sam Headboard, beautifully embroidered with soft leaf motifs. It is the star of the room, a true masterpiece that brings the space to life.
The placement and scale of the embroidery create a sense of movement, further enhancing the room’s connection to nature.
The curtains and mannequin, both dressed in Ashenwood fabric, pick up the deeper hues of the scheme. Strong reds and greens introduce a dynamic energy, lifting the space while preserving its elegant balance.
We hope you find as much joy in our Songbird Suite as we did in bringing it to life.
