This week, we’re excited to take you inside Room 200 at Haymarket Hotel. Nestled in the vibrant heart of London’s theatre district, our hotel is surrounded by the city’s finest attractions, all within walking distance. Room 200 offers the perfect base for your next stay.
Overlooking the peaceful internal courtyard, this spacious guest room serves as a light-filled and tranquil retreat. The soothing plaster-coloured walls create a calm atmosphere, while a striking headboard steals the show, upholstered in a bold and playful Pierre Frey fabric.
The linen fabric’s graphic embroidery features a joyful medley of interlocking geometric shapes in vivid colours, adding personality and energy to the room.
To complement the headboard, we selected grass-green embroidered fabric for the curtains and bed cushions, striking the perfect balance within the scheme. The diamond chevron pattern, stitched in chunky yarn on a linen base, lends a touch of artisanal charm and texture.
The sofa, dressed in our ‘Live It Up’ fabric for Christopher Farr – bursts with vibrant, multicoloured stripes. This design, with its woven details, enhances the rich blend of greens, blues, and golds that run throughout the room.
To ground the vibrant patterns, we added plain wool fabrics in a subtle chevron weave, using vibrant blue and grass green on the bed valance and tub chairs. These thoughtful touches add a sense of balance and cohesion.
For a playful twist, we included Seema Krish’s ikat print fabric for the sofa cushions, which is also echoed in the lampshades, bringing an additional pop of flair to the space.
Vibrant yet soothing and equally suited to both masculine and feminine tastes, this carefully curated room is the perfect blend of style and comfort. Explore more of our signature bedroom designs in our ‘Sleeping Around’ blog series here.Â
