Room 4 at Haymarket Hotel

Sleeping Around

Step inside Room 4 at Haymarket Hotel...

Welcome to Room 4 at the Haymarket Hotel—one of our newly refurbished spaces. This spacious ground-floor room is tucked away in a quiet corner, offering the perfect retreat. No need to bother with lifts, just step into this peaceful haven. Adjacent to the sunlit conservatory, Room 4 bursts with life, featuring fresh blue walls and vibrant pops of colour.

The pièce de résistance? A striking headboard dressed in the whimsical ‘Peacock Parade’ fabric from the renowned House of Jim Thompson. This enchanting design, inspired by Greek embroidery, showcases stylised peacocks perched on a magical tree of life amidst wild foliage.

The fabric’s multi-coloured table print is achieved with two sets of screens, creating a large, bold repeat pattern. White pigment artfully highlights the design, adding an extra dimension of depth.

The seating area continues the vibrant theme with a sofa and armchair upholstered in a delightful weave by Andrew Martin. This fabric, featuring geometric motifs in bold, chunky stripes, exudes an Andean-inspired flair.

Its tactile richness makes it a standout favourite in the room.

To harmonise with the playful patterns, we’ve incorporated solid, textured wools in complementing shades of blue and orange. These fabrics, used for the tub chairs and bed valance, create a grounding balance that ties the room together beautifully.

We’ve given an old chest of drawers a fresh makeover, upholstering it in a bright orange menagerie-inspired fabric. The piece features intricately detailed animals, turning this practical item into a whimsical work of art.

Cosy, cheerful, and full of character, Room 4 invites you to unwind in its carefully curated charm. We hope you’ve enjoyed this glimpse into our latest design at Haymarket Hotel, and we can’t wait to welcome you soon.
