Step inside and explore one of our latest schemes with The Soho Suite at The Soho Hotel. This large suite spans across the hotel’s 5th floor, boasting plenty of space as well as two balconies overlooking central London’s skyline…
As you arrive, you’ll find the walls of the living room are adorned in a tonal orange fabric, creating a cosy cocoon that welcomes you. Softening the Crittall windows are curtains made with a floral fabric design by Stroheim. This fabric has a watercolour and painterly effect on its linen background with texture added in through areas of embroidery. The thread colours really pack a punch!
We love to include a fireplace when designing living room areas, as they make great focal points and are a way to bring character into any space. Here, a comfortable deep buttoned Chesterfield sofa sits opposite and has been upholstered in a striped weave with rich colours and navy blue to add sophistication.
As you head through to the bedroom, a sense of calm is instilled with a scheme of blues and greens. Pops of orange have been introduced for warmth as well as creating cohesion with the living room.
Our Little Weed fabric for Christopher Farr can be seen in two colourways on the tub chairs. Sometimes we like to upholster a chair or a sofa in two or three different fabrics to add some contemporary flare. Read more about this with our blog post: Combinations of Three.
Artworks create variety and depth with framed collaged flowers and paintings. A touch of quirkiness has been injected with these framed mini Campbell Soup cans!
On the statement headboard, you’ll find our Heart of Oak fabric which we designed for Rosebank Fabrics. Our love of craftsmanship is no secret and we often like to frame antique textiles to showcase their beauty. The piece near to the bed is exquisite with delicate bead and thread work. Another example of true craftsmanship is the desk, made from English salvaged oak with a waney edge inset into the top and sides. We love its seamless joins and its elegant sinuous shape.
