Feel alive with our new scheme in room 1005 at Crosby Street Hotel. Energetic teals and corals set the tone in this Top Floor Deluxe Room which has sweeping views of downtown Manhattan. Nina Campbellā€™s Claribel La Moulade fabric was our starting point for this scheme. We love this textured jacquard fabric with its shades of red, hot pink, and tropical blue.

We used this statement fabric to cover the onion shaped headboard and bed cushions. The design’s intricate medallions and diamonds add depth and texture to the headboard and its aqua diamonds stand out against the light blue fabric walls.

The curtains were made with one of our favourite linens from Vanderhurd. The design has bold accents which echo the headboard’s medallion shapes. We have also added a three inch leading edge and again, we’ve used the wall’s wave fabric for an unexpected touch.

We have used fabric with a playful maze-like design for the armchairs and our signature Firmdale mannequin. We love the extra energy this fabric brings to the room. It complements the wall’s subtle wave patterns and together, these designs feel animated and become mesmerising to look at. We have included wool piping to the armchairs in teal blue. Wrapped around our mannequin’s waist, is a belt made with the same fabric used for the walls. We hope you love the contrast this creates as much as we do!

For the window seat cushions, desk chair and bed valance we have used another of Nina Campbell’s weaves. It has a punchy and striking red hue with subtle wave patterns of its own. The texture feels cosy and luxurious. A sophisticated leather trim elevates the window cushions and the handle of the desk chair.

Thank you for exploring room 1005 with us. Whilst we have worked with a simple colour palette, this scheme is full of patterns and textures that make the space feel layered and packed with energy. Come and visit us at Crosby Street Hotel soon!

To complete the scheme we have an end of bed stool (EBS) which has been upholstered with one third of a coral wool and two thirds of a teal wool.
