Suite 907 at Crosby Street Hotel came to life in conjunction with the creation of my latest collection with Andrew Martin.
We used the orange colourway of ‘Friendly Folk’, one of my latest fabrics, to adorn the bedroom walls, paired with a mossy green headboard.
In the drawing room we used the green colourway of ‘Friendly Folk’ on the chairs which sit beside the window, overlooking the rooftops and water towers of Manhattan.
My fabric ‘Loom Weave’ for Christopher Farr Cloth adds texture to the little tub chairs by the fireplace. This fabric is given its moment with added details including the fun leather tassels on the chairs. These little touches will always add that final finish.
With the colour scheme decided, we added a lovely lacquer orange side board for an extra punch of colour.
You may not expect it to go with the wonderfully romantic Lewis & Wood fabric on the sofas, but a fresh and modern piece contrasted with a traditional scheme always looks more exciting in a carefully detailed room.
