Residence 7 at Ham Yard Hotel

Join us this week as we take you around our Residence 7 at Ham Yard Hotel. Step into the one-bedroom haven, where a vibrant tapestry of warmth, colour and texture awaits. As you entre the apartment you are welcomed by the radiant ambiance of the sunny drawing room, adorned with walls cloaked in a soothing yellow linen. The curtain fabric, a masterpiece by Pierre Frey, served as the starting point for this scheme setting the tone for the entire space.

The sofa boasts a playful textured upholstery, elegantly piped in a lively shade of orange. Above, three captivating artworks by Breon O’Casey complement the Pierre Frey fabric, adorning the curtains and wing chair with finesse.

For the ottoman we used an exquisite embroidery uncovered by Kit during her travels many years ago. It has transformed the ottoman into a source of joy and intrigue as you enter the room.

A newly installed fireplace, flanked by built-in bookshelves backed with antique mirrors, radiates a soft glow at night with concealed LED strip lights. Nestled in the living area are two armchairs, upholstered in a mottled textured weave, featuring a bold combination of two colorways for a contemporary touch. Grounding the seating area is our ‘Sooner Than Later‘ rug in a vibrant hot pink, a collaborative creation with Annie Selke.

Moving into the bedroom, you are greeted by this magnificent headboard draped in an Indian hand-block fabric. We have dressed the windows in the same fabric to create a harmonious and unified look. Turquoise blue accents inspired the choice of a bright blue linen for the walling, providing a serene backdrop.

By the window are two William IV chairs, harmoniously covered in fabrics matching the valance and kick pleat. Nestled between them is a charming antique Hoshiarpur table, inviting guests to savour their morning coffee against this elegant backdrop.

We hope you enjoy this apartment as much as we do! Discover more of our ‘Sleeping Around’ blogs here.
