You may remember our Out and About blog post from a while ago, where we took a trip down to the William Edwards Factory to conjure up some great ideas for a tea service we had been asked to do for one of London’s most celebrated theatres – The Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
We are delighted to finally have the finished product of our designs and had the pleasure of seeing none other than Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, enjoying a delicious Afternoon Tea from the terrace of the theatre on our new ‘Mythical Characters’ china that we created.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were given a personal tour of the £60 million renovation project by owner, Andrew Lloyd Webber and his wife Madeleine, before Prince Charles unveiled a plaque to commemorate the opening and officially reopen the historic theatre. The first show to hit the new stage will be an adaptation of the smash-hit Disney film, Frozen.
Stay tuned for more news on when our Mythical Characters china will be available to purchase very soon!
