All the Trimmings at Paris Deco Off 2020

Out and About

This year our highlight at the Paris Deco Off is the ‘Woven’ exhibition, a celebration of textile artistry by Christopher Farr and Christopher Farr Cloth in collaboration with The World of Interiors. ‘Woven’ will unveil my new fabric weaves and, for the first time, passementerie and trim designs for Christopher Farr.

January is a very exciting month for Interior Designers. With the Paris Deco Off fast approaching, we are not only looking forward to sipping champagne with the industry’s finest but we are holding our breath, anticipating the launches of New Collections that will inspire and make up our new designs!

This year our highlight is the ‘Woven’ exhibition, a celebration of textile artistry by Christopher Farr and Christopher Farr Cloth in collaboration with The World of Interiors. ‘Woven’ will unveil my new fabric weaves and, for the first time, passementerie and trim designs for Christopher Farr.

The Collection highlights the creative craftsmanship of hand embroiderers in Kerala, who responded to these designs and applied their own creative interpretations. The weaves are graphic and fun and the trims are striking.

This Collection is inspired by the textiles I love the most, such as Travelling Light, as well as the British abstract artist Terry Frost, renowned for his use of colour and shape, the Cornish landscape and even a chunky ribbon motif I had hidden in a drawer.

The colour palette varies from smoky greys to zingy yellows, vibrant pinks and deep indigos. The collection has an unparalleled texture and depth.

We hope you enjoy Paris Deco Off and our new collections!

The collection will be available to view for the first time at Galerie Berthet Aittouares during #ParisDecoOff 16th – 20th January
