On my travels I will often seek out markets, boutiques and craftsmen in search of simple finds like these coconut shells. They will look good on your dining table whether you are in Barbados or Brighton.

I could not resist the treasures that I found at Holders Market on a Sunday in Barbados. Shells of coconuts can look fabulous on your dining table if they are set on little legs to make them stand firm. Stems of exotic flowers or colourful leaves can be placed inside the coconut shells and take centre stage on the table. Surrounded by candles they look exquisite and natural.
