Halloween is almost upon us and at this spooktacular time of the year, we are always encouraged to scheme with an exciting colour combination: orange and black. This year we’d also like to share some design ‘faux pas’ which spook us the most at our Design Studio. Join us as we share some examples of what to avoid when designing your own schemes!

1.) Don’t turn your home into a museum…

Stuffy interiors that are not
inviting and seem to have been created just to be contemplated: fabrics that are too delicate on
narrow sofas, coffee tables that are so full of objects that you cannot possibly have a cup of tea. In
the old days, there would be several drawing rooms in a house, but nowadays it is normally simply
better to aim to make all the rooms inviting.
