Easter Tablescaping

As we’ve spent the last couple of Easter holidays in lockdown, this year is all about being together and spending time with friends and family. If you are planning a celebration, why not decorate your table to WOW your guests and bring extra cheerfulness into your home. From napkins, to egg cups and bunnies, here’s how to create a wonderful Easter tablescape.

Tip 1: The Easter Classics
It is important to incorporate some Easter classics when decorating a table. This adds an element of playfulness with the addition of a few bunnies, chicks and edible eggs. We’ve placed our chocolate eggs in Mythical Creatures Egg Cups. You can also get creative with paint and use them as name places.

Here is one of our tablescapes with colourful chocolate eggs and Easter bunnies taking centre stage. Our recent Spring/Summer collection of Patchwork Toys include limited edition bunny toys, made from some of Kit’s favourite fabrics. They would make a fun addition to any table!

If you’re going to bake your own treats this Easter, our Lost and Found Green apron will keep you flour free!

Tip 2: Nature
Spring is known to be an optimistic time of the year with fresh flowers, warmer weather and new beginnings. Bring some of the outdoors in with handpicked blooms of tulips and daffodils, or have a go at making your own Easter tree. To see how to create your own click here.

Tip 3: Texture
Adding different layers of textures with linen napkins, smooth ceramic tableware and sparkling glassware can add a sense of warmth to the table. Our embroidered Initial Linen Napkins bring a personalised touch.

Tip 4: Colour
Spring and Easter are all about new pops of colour bursting into our lives! Our recently launched collection with Annie Selke is full of joyful colours. Here we have used a Happy Go Lucky Aqua Bedspread as a tablecloth! It can be used on the reverse side also, where daisy chains add whimsical flourishes, inspiring a light hearted mood. The perfect setting for a cheerful Easter with family and friends.
