Kit Kemp x GP & J Baker at Treasure House Art Fair 2026

Day to Day

Discover how our latest collection with GP & J Baker brought Treasure House Art Fair to life through colour, pattern and thoughtfully layered design...

If you didn’t get the chance to visit Treasure House Art Fair, here’s a closer look at the hospitality spaces our design studio created as the fair’s official restaurant and hospitality design partner.

We were delighted to design the hospitality spaces at Treasure House Art Fair, including the restaurant, café and central Oyster Bar. Inspired by some of our much-loved restaurants across the Firmdale Hotels collection, we brought Brumus Brasserie at Haymarket Hotel and Oscar’s Oyster Bar at Charlotte Street Hotel to life within the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Each space became an opportunity to celebrate our latest fabric and wallpaper collection with GP & J Baker, using colour, pattern and texture to create welcoming interiors that felt both uplifting and memorable. From bespoke upholstery to playful wallpapers and carefully considered details, every element was designed to encourage visitors to pause, gather and enjoy the experience as much as the art itself.

Brumus Brasserie at Haymarket Hotel

At the heart of the fair, Brumus Brasserie captured the atmosphere of the Haymarket Hotel’s much-loved restaurant. Led by Head Chef Richard Wilkins, it offered an elegant dining experience overlooking the magnificent grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The interior was layered with tactile fabrics from our GP & J Baker collection. Banquette seating was upholstered in Tip Toe in the warm Earth colourway, while the central banquette was wrapped in Tim’s Rug, adding depth and texture to the scheme. Scatter cushions in Crossroads and Noah’s Ark introduced another playful layer of pattern, creating a space that felt both relaxed and refined.

Oscar’s Oyster Bar at Charlotte Street Hotel

Bringing the lively spirit of Oscar Bar at Charlotte Street Hotel to the fair, Oscar’s Oyster Bar became a vibrant destination for fresh seafood, creative cocktails and celebratory glasses of Champagne. Full of colour and unexpected details, it offered a welcoming place to gather throughout the day.

The bar was painted in a warm, soft red, with panels of our Noah’s Ark wallpaper in Blue introducing pattern beneath the counter.

The seating continued this layered approach, with generous sofas upholstered in Tudor Rose in the Green/Blue colourway alongside our iconic West Timber Tub chairs in Noah’s Ark Indigo. Together, the mix of colour, pattern and texture created a joyful setting that perfectly complemented the creativity of the fair.

Treasure House Art Fair was a wonderful celebration of art, craftsmanship and creativity, making it the perfect setting to showcase our latest collection with GP & J Baker. We loved creating spaces that invited visitors to relax, connect and feel inspired, because the most memorable interiors are always those that bring people together.
