On Saturday 9th May, Willow Kemp, Art Ambassador and Design Director at Firmdale Hotels, will host the debut of Willow’s Art Walk at Crosby Street Hotel, an intimate guided tour through the hotel’s carefully curated art collection.
Crosby Street Hotel is nestled in downtown SoHo, one of New York’s most creative neighbourhoods, and is home to an inspiring art collection. While moving through the hotel’s lively public spaces, Willow will share the stories behind her favourite pieces and offer insight into both collecting and living with art.
In our hotels, artworks are collected and carefully curated over time, thoughtfully placed throughout the interiors to feel natural, personal and layered.
The morning will begin with an intimate breakfast at the hotel. After Willow’s Art Walk, you will stroll to the nearby New Museum, which will have just reopened to the public following a major expansion. Enjoy an exclusive private tour of the New Humans: Memories of the Future exhibition – exploring artistic interpretations of what it means to be human during a time of rapid technological change, featuring works by Anicka Yi, Sarah Lucas and Tschabalala Self.
