As we draw the curtain on 2025, we find ourselves reflecting on a year filled with creativity and an inspiring variety of projects. From cherished annual traditions to exciting new collaborations and memorable launches, each month brought something unique to celebrate. Here is a look back at the moments that shaped our year.
January: A New Beginning
The year began quietly, giving us space to regroup and reset. It was a month of planning, mood boarding, and setting the tone for the design stories we hoped to unfold throughout the year with 25 Design Tips for 2025.
February: Celebrating One Year of Warren Street Hotel
February marked the first anniversary of our Warren Street Hotel in New York, offering a moment to look back and reminisce on some of our favourite designs.
March: Studio on Wheels
March brought the excitement of our Studio on Wheels collaboration with Christopher Farr. This creative space showcased our latest fabric collection within a Victorian-inspired mobile photography studio. It invited people to step inside, engage with our fabrics, and try on our wonderfully bespoke kimonos and delightfully over-the-top hats.
April: National Tea Day
As spring blossoms appeared across London, April gave us the chance to honour one of Britain’s most beloved rituals. Throughout our hotels, thoughtful design details celebrate the art of tea, with handcrafted touches and playful nods to this timeless tradition.
May: LA Design Week
May took us to sunny Los Angeles for an inspiring showcase during LA Design Week. Our window installation at the Harbinger showroom added vibrant energy to the festivities.
June: The Treasure House Fair
June marked the debut of Refuel Café at the Treasure House Fair, a highlight of the summer season. The event became a lively meeting point where hospitality, art, and design came together in perfect harmony.
July: Christmas in July
July offered a fun mid-year moment as we turned our thoughts to the festive season. It was the perfect opportunity to explore early ideas, colour palettes, and playful touches ahead of Christmas. Planning for the holidays while enjoying a cheeky Christmas meal in the height of summer never fails to bring joy.
This year, we also introduced our new Spode decorations, including the charming Staffordshire dog, adding a playful nod to tradition.
August: Willow’s Painting at the Secret Art Sale
In August, Willow took part in the Secret Artist Sale, a much-loved event supporting creativity for a good cause. Her sweet painting of Rupert, the family’s Cavalier King Charles spaniel, spotting a New Forest pony on the beach for the first time, with his little ears pricked, brought smiles all round. It was a pleasure to contribute to something that blends art, community, and charity so beautifully.
September: Our Harvest Moon Collection Launch
With the arrival of autumn, September saw the launch of our Harvest Moon collection with Andrew Martin. Celebrating rich textures, earthy tones, and celestial inspiration, it offered a warm, grounding moment of creativity.
October: Ham Yard Restaurant at Frieze Masters
October was a standout month as we took part in Frieze Masters 2025 for the fourth year running. The event celebrated art, food, design, and the beauty of intricate detail through thoughtfully curated displays.
November: The Weekend Collection
November saw the launch of The Weekend Collection for Chelsea Textiles, an embroidery collection of five designs inspired by British garden sheds, buzzing bees, and multicoloured toadstools. We wanted this collection to pack an extra punch, designing bold backcloths that add instant character to any room.
December: Christmas Cheer and New Year Wishes
December brought festive sparkle, joyful gatherings, and a moment to pause and reflect.
As the year draws to a close, we send warm wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a bright, creative start to 2026. We cannot wait to share what we have in store for the year ahead.
