At our Design Studio, we love seeing how a single fabric can transform a space, creating different moods depending on where and how it is used. Panjim fabric by Clarence House is a vibrant celebration of colour, pattern and character, inspiring us to explore new ways of bringing it to life. Featuring playful foliage and animals, this fabric adds movement, energy and personality to any interior. In today’s blog, we are sharing three unique ways we have used Panjim fabric across our hotels.
Crosby Street Hotel
Here, Panjim takes centre stage as the room’s protagonist. Framed with a solid yellow border, the headboard transforms the fabric into a striking focal point that sparks conversation. The walls are dressed in a rich red, setting the tone for the scheme, while the curtains and bed cushions feature a hand-block-style fabric. Its spaced-out print allows the oatmeal background to peek through, creating a crispness that prevents the scheme from feeling heavy.
Ham Yard Hotel
In this room, we opted for the multi-colourway with a blue-led palette softened by accents of pink, green, and yellow. Unlike the Crosby Street Hotel room, Panjim here sits against raffia wallpaper with graphic motifs, layering pattern rather than hiding it. A solid blue sofa anchors the room, providing a visual pause that balances the playful energy.
The Soho Hotel
Upon entering this suite, guests are greeted by soft red walls. In the seating area, two Chesterfield sofas upholstered in Panjim evoke the feel of a tapestry. Glowing reds and golds harmonise with carefully curated furniture and lighting, creating rhythm, cohesion and a lively, conversational space.
The fabric is also continued on the headboard, paired with our Puff fabric, tying the suite together beautifully.
