Frieze Masters 2025: A Celebration of Art, Design and Detail

Day to Day

Discover how we celebrated creativity and craftsmanship at Frieze Masters 2025 with bold design, seasonal flavours and a touch of Ham Yard charm...

We were delighted to once again be part of the vibrant buzz of Frieze Masters this autumn in glorious Regent’s Park. For the fourth year running, our Ham Yard Restaurant pop-up brought a touch of colour, creativity and comfort to the heart of the fair.

The pop-up welcomed visitors for leisurely lunches, glasses of champagne and moments of calm amidst the energy of Frieze. The interiors reflected the playful spirit of our West End restaurant, layering bold colours, rich textures, and artful details in true Kit Kemp style. This year’s design showcased our fabrics designed for Christopher Farr, including Chubby Check, Zig Zag, and Little Weed, all harmoniously balanced with calming blue and green upholstery inspired by our Sailor’s Farewell chinaware.

Every detail, from the plush upholstery to the final touches on the tableware, was carefully curated to create a space that felt both joyful and refined. A mirror borrowed from a neighbouring gallery added a final touch of brilliance, blending the world of art and interior design.

One of the highlights of the week was our maître d’, who truly stole the show. Ije Ene, known for her impeccable style and warm presence, dazzled guests in a series of handmade outfits crafted from our signature fabrics. Each look captured the creativity and individuality that defines our studio, and her radiant energy set the tone for every guest’s experience.

Our à la carte menu celebrated the best flavours of autumn, with dishes such as pumpkin and sprouting broccoli salad with tahini and lemon dressing, potato gnocchi with girolle mushrooms, sheep’s cheese and black truffle, and comforting apple and blackberry crumble with custard. On Sunday, guests enjoyed traditional roasts with all the trimmings, served on our cherished Sailor’s Farewell fine bone china, a collection that captures the charm and storytelling of folklore.

As we look back on the short-lived but unforgettable event that filled the tent at Regent’s Park with extraordinary art, design, and conversation, we can’t help but smile. Our talented chefs, bartenders, and front-of-house team once again created an experience that was both polished and full of heart.

Frieze Masters 2025 reminded us once more of the magic that happens when creativity, craftsmanship and community come together. We are already looking forward to next year.
