Followers of Firmdale Hotels will have noticed the sculptural mannequins that grace each of our carefully tailored bedrooms. They have become an integral part of our design story and we take great delight in perfecting every detail. For us, mannequins are endlessly intriguing. They are sculptural, surprising and always spark conversation. Sometimes they are dressed in bold fabrics, other times they stand quietly as silhouettes in the corner. However they appear, they become works of art in their own right.
One of the most iconic examples is at the Haymarket Hotel in London, where a Fornasetti inspired mannequin not only greets guests but also serves as the hotel’s graphic identity and logo.
Step inside and you will discover a different mannequin in each bedroom, each one adding its own personality. Guests love them so much that we have made it possible to take home a piece of this Firmdale magic. We are delighted to introduce the latest additions to Shop Kit Kemp.
