This summer, Refuel Café at the Treasure House Fair was a vibrant meeting point where hospitality, art and design came together in perfect harmony. Held at the end of June, the fair welcomed over 30,000 art lovers, and we were delighted to be at the heart of it all. On today’s blog, we invite you to step inside our thoughtfully designed space, where the walls were wrapped in our Mythical Land wallpaper. Filled with mythical creatures and storybook landscapes, the setting captured the magic and spirit of the solstice.
Like a storybook brought to life, the space felt both intimate and otherworldly, with tree-lined parasols and a joyful mix of colour designed to inspire calm and curiosity.
The menu celebrated the best of seasonal British fare, featuring burrata, rare roast beet and classic puddings such as tangy lemon tarts. At the bar, bespoke cocktails were inspired by British artists and served with matching art-themed coasters.
More than just a pop-up, the café was a creative collaboration between The Soho Hotel and the Treasure House Fair. It brought Firmdale’s unique style to the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, offering a vibrant, thoughtfully designed space for guests to relax between exploring antique treasures.
We were also delighted to host a Shop Kit Kemp pop-up this June at the Chelsea Textiles showroom in Pimlico. It was a fantastic day and a real pleasure to be part of the fun for the Pimlico Road summer party.
We look forward to seeing you at more of our pop-ups.
