Residence 9 at Ham Yard Hotel

Day to Day

Discover the charm and creativity of Residence 9 at Ham Yard Hotel...

Step inside the newly refurbished Residence 9 at Ham Yard Hotel, a vibrant celebration of bold colour, eclectic pattern and artistic detail. At the heart of the Drawing Room is a limestone fireplace, offering a warm and welcoming focal point for guests. Above it, an aged antique mirror reflects natural light throughout the space, adding a sense of depth and elegance.

The walls are adorned with a green striped fabric by MINDTHEGAP, bringing a fresh and clean aesthetic to the room.

The Chesterfield sofa and matching armchairs are upholstered in a striking geometric fabric inspired by traditional ikat designs. Using the same fabric across all the seating pieces brings a sense of harmony to this lively interior. Floor-to-ceiling Crittall windows are dressed in a large-scale embroidered fabric, capturing the graceful movement of green foliage against crisp white linen. We love blending organic textures with geometric patterns to create visual interest and balance.

In the Master Bedroom, we have created a joyful retreat full of character and comfort. The design centres around the headboard, often considered the crown jewel of any bedroom. Here, it takes on a sweeping, sculptural shape and is upholstered in a vibrant fabric bursting with blossoms and vines, evoking the charm of a whimsical garden blooming above the bed.

Soft emerald fabric walls provide a fresh yet calming backdrop, allowing the vivid tones of the headboard and curtains to shine without overwhelming the space. At the foot of the bed, a stool in a striped weave introduces subtle texture and geometry.

In the second bedroom, the walls are wrapped in a cheerful yellow linen, infusing the space with warmth and brightness. The statement headboard is a blend of three fabrics: our Tasha’s Trip design for Christopher Farr takes centre stage, with its delicate trails of yellow and blue flowers. It is bordered by a textured yellow fabric and a blue teal piping adds a refined finishing touch between the layers.

The armchair, curtains and bed cushions are all crafted in the same serene Blithfield fabric, creating a cohesive and tranquil atmosphere.
