Throughout the Restaurant & Bar at Warren Street Hotel, stripes of varying materials are seamlessly integrated. The bar itself is crafted from wood, with each plank showcasing unique shades that add depth and character. For the chairs and banquettes, we’ve chosen our Hotline fabric for Christopher Farr Cloth, featuring a meticulously detailed stripe that captures the charm of a treasured, vintage textile.
In the Drawing Room, striped upholstery takes centre stage on the two large sofas. This robust and character-filled fabric perfectly anchors the space, pairing beautifully with an ottoman upholstered in an authentic Indian textile. Together, they create a harmonious balance of texture and colour.
While striped walls might seem daunting, they are actually an excellent way to introduce texture and visual height to a room. In several bedrooms at Warren Street Hotel, we’ve embraced a variety of striped wall treatments, ranging from traditional ticking to broader and finer stripes. Each design adds its own rhythm to the space.
Striped curtains add another layer of dimension to a room, enhancing the verticality of a space and providing a striking visual impact. In rooms with sweeping views of Tribeca, we’ve chosen curtains featuring rich, textured stripes. The embroidered and intricate Schumacher fabric in one suite exemplifies our appreciation for the tactile quality and vivid colours that stripes can bring to a room.
There’s something particularly special about striped headboards. At Warren Street Hotel, we’ve designed some of our favourite headboards using this classic motif. One standout is the ‘Under the Sea’ headboard, where stripes form the foundation of a playful and textured design. With delicate coral detailing and appliquéd fish, this headboard brings both craft and charm to the space.
