Fabric Focus: Front Row

Day to Day

Take a closer look at our Front Row fabric...

Introducing Front Row, a standout fabric from our collection designed for GP & J Baker. This design is inspired by an antique tapestry, beautifully reworked to suit contemporary tastes. Front Row effortlessly combines rich historical influences with modern energy, making it the perfect addition to any space. Whether applied to walls, upholstery or home accessories, this fabric brings depth and character, transforming the ambiance of any room with its timeless yet vibrant appeal. Available in two colourways—Jewel Green and Jewel Blue.

At the GP & J Baker showroom in London, we upholstered one of our Celia Ottomans in Front Row’s Jewel Blue. While the design is printed, the texture seems to leap from the fabric, offering a tactile experience that complements its visual appeal.

The beauty of Front Row lies in its ability to transform a space with its dynamic colour play. In The Orangery at Crosby Street Hotel, we applied Front Row wallpaper in Jewel Green, where the design creates intrigue and draws the eye around the room. The interplay of tonal colours within the design makes it easy to incorporate into any scheme, offering endless possibilities for layering and complementing other elements in the room.

We also used Front Row to clad the walls in our Kips Bay showroom last March, where the effect was both enchanting and timeless, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.

In a room at The Whitby Hotel, tones of blue and orange from the Front Row fabric were highlighted in the headboard and upholstery, creating a vibrant and energetic scheme that feels cohesive and lively. The contrast of these colours injects vitality into the space while maintaining a sense of harmony.

At Warren Street Hotel, Front Row wallpaper in Jewel Blue adorns the corridors, giving guests a playful surprise before entering the public spaces or bedrooms. By utilising Front Row in this often-overlooked space, we’ve brought the corridor to life, allowing it to shine.

In the Lee Jofa showroom in New York, we used Front Row fabric in Jewel Blue to upholster two Leo Armchairs, backed with our Tweak fabric. The result is a harmonious and inviting space, full of character and fresh energy.

Not just limited to walls and upholstery, Front Row also makes an elegant bedspread, tying together the elements of a bedroom and creating a cohesive, impactful design. Its versatility and rich detail make it a standout choice for any room.

We hope you’ve enjoyed exploring how we’ve used this versatile and striking fabric in our projects. Front Row continues to be a fabric that adds artistry, character and timeless beauty to any space it graces.
