We’re excited to announce our latest event: Willow’s exclusive Art Walk in Tribeca, New York. Tribeca has evolved from a sought-after residential area to a thriving hub for art galleries, making it the ideal home for our newest hotel. Now considered the cultural epicentre of Manhattan, Tribeca boasts over 70 galleries—featuring both established and emerging artists—all within walking distance of the hotel.
Willow Kemp, Firmdale Hotel’s Art Ambassador and Design Director, is passionate about discovering new talent and appreciating the works of celebrated artists in the local galleries. After establishing the much-loved art walks in London, she’s bringing this popular experience to New York.
To celebrate the launch of the New York Art Walk, we’re kicking off the first event to coincide with the grand opening of the Marian Goodman Gallery in Tribeca’s historic Grosvenor Building on October 26th 2024. The tour will begin at Warren Street Hotel, where Willow will guide you through the hotel’s vibrant and eclectic art collection, sharing the fascinating stories behind each piece.
From there, we’ll take a leisurely walk to the newly-renovated Marian Goodman Gallery, housed in a beautifully converted warehouse dating back to 1875. You’ll be among the first to explore this exciting new gallery space, designed by studioMDA, before we return to the hotel for a delightful afternoon tea.
This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in Warren Street Hotel’s unique art collection while discovering Tribeca’s dynamic art scene. So, put on your walking shoes and join us for a fun and artistic adventure – topped off with a touch of afternoon tea. Explore more details and book your tickets here.
