Amidst our search for inspiration during these winter days, we’ve been delighted by a seasonal surprise in our South Kensington studio’s back garden. Each evening, around 5pm, as the sun dips behind the buildings, we’re serenaded by a charming avian melody outside our windows. This has inspired us to explore the special avian-inspired designs that grace our hotels.
In The Orangery at The Whitby Hotel, we’ve adorned the space with bespoke brasserie chandeliers featuring delicate birds perched upon branches. It’s a celebration of the remarkable resilience displayed by our feathered companions as they gracefully adapt to the bustling urban landscape.
Nestled within the vibrant new wallpaper collection crafted by Minnie Kemp for Mind the Gap, a charming avian perches atop a golden frame, adding a touch of whimsy and nature-inspired elegance to the space.
In our newly opened Warren Street Hotel, we’ve crafted a custom applique on one of our Kit Wing Chairs. This stylised bird motif incorporates graphic shapes and bold colours, infusing the space with a sense of vitality and charm.
At Shop Kit Kemp, we adore the playful charm of our embroidered cushion designs. These cushions serve as a simple yet joyful way to infuse cheer into any space, celebrating our avian companions as they seemingly dance around, serenading us with their melodies.
We hope this blog has inspired you to listen out for the enchanting melodies of winter birds.
At Charlotte Street Hotel, our Song Bird wallpaper creates a romantic haven in room 207, transporting you to a magical garden with its graceful dance of willow trees and songbirds.
