A Sneak Peek at Our Latest Renovation

Day to Day

This week we invite you to take a sneak peek at our latest residential renovation in London...

This week we invite you to take a sneak peek at our latest residential renovation in London.

The drawing room is a bright and airy space which stretches from the front to the back of the house. We have used my oversized ‘One Way’ fabric for Christopher Farr on one of the walls and on the curtains surrounding the arched windows.

Between the two arched windows is an 18th-century Spanish chest. An old piece of wood is grounding in such a vibrant space.

It is a large repeat so we need a space with high ceilings to make the most of the design.

The most recent redecoration was completed last summer and we completely reconfigured the ground floor. We created a new entrance hall, which is lined in my ‘Mythical Lands’ wallpaper for Andrew Martin.

Adjoining the kitchen, we created a light and airy dining space. At the head of our table, one of our ‘Kit’s Wing’ armchairs is covered in a Raoul Textiles fabric which matches the curtain pelmets.

In the eaves of the house is the master bedroom wrapped in a red linen which makes the room feel warm and inviting. We used my ‘Ashenwood’ linen for Chelsea Textiles on the headboard, cushions and quilt.

On the upstairs landing, the ‘Mythical Lands’ wallpaper is carried through from the entrance hall. The bookshelves, painted jade green, create an inviting library space.

In a second bedroom, the headboard is covered in a bespoke colourway of Baker Grey’s hand embroidered ‘Monkey in a Fig Tree’ fabric.

In this guest bedroom, the headboard, curtains and pillows are in my ‘Hedgerow’ design from my latest collection for Andrew Martin, paired with a bedspread in Blithfield’s ‘Anoushka’ fabric.

Colour makes you happy, if you put your key in the lock and open the door to a bit of joy, then so much the better.
