One of our favourite rooms at Covent Garden Hotel is our Junior Loft Suite. Featuring reclaimed wooden beams, a fireplace and a turret seating area, this room really is an escape from the hustle and bustle of London outside.

We wanted to create a romantic mood when recently designing this scheme, incorporating the existing features of the room. Set against dusky pink walls, we have designed a large scale headboard, using one of our latest fabrics, a beautiful embroidery called Ashenwood in Summer, which is available through Chelsea Textiles.

We then dressed the bed with a traditional corona, using a Lee Jofa floral fabric on the outer side, contrasted with a quirky yellow print we sourced at Tissus d’Helene.

In addition to the sofa and armchair designed for the room, a built-in seating area has been created within the turret, allowing flexibility of living within the space. Built in seating areas can also be a clever trick to maximise seating in smaller spaces.
