I found these two hand embroidered throws in the shop at The American Folk Art Museum in New York. The little critters are divine; they are hand stitched and give me inspiration for my own fabric designs.

A small detail can provide the lyrical element that brings a whole room to life. Look for unusual fabrics with something which captures your imagination, they will be the things that people will remember.

I have always been drawn to folk art and craft, by mixing these throws with Clementine Oliver wools on one of my wing chairs; I hope to create a more contemporary feel.
